GiaX and BKTel Pacific Rim Announce Strategic Partnership to Accelerate Broadband Deployments Across APAC

GiaX, a German innovator in advanced broadband access technologies, and BKTel Pacific Rim (BKTel PacRim) have signed a strategic partner agreement to expand the availability of GiaX’s high-performance broadband solutions throughout the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

Under the agreement, BKTel Pacific Rim becomes an authorized reseller of GiaX’s portfolio, including:

• Xantus — a 10 Gbps broadband solution over existing coaxial infrastructure, enabling operators to deliver multi-gigabit services without full network replacement. Xantus is ideally suited for MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) environments as well as edge network deployments, providing a powerful option for cost-efficient network upgrades.
• Atlas — a distributed PON OLT platform, designed for flexible, scalable fiber access architectures and decentralized network designs.
• Iris — a MoCA access solution purpose-built for the MDU market, allowing service providers to deliver high-speed broadband services using in-building coax cabling.

Together, these solutions allow operators to extend fiber performance deeper into networks, modernize legacy infrastructure, and deliver next-generation broadband services with greater speed, flexibility, and cost efficiency.
